Unsupported
Services in this category are unsupported by local or central IT resources. Basic services such as software downloads may be provided locally, but the user of the service is otherwise solely responsible for procurement, installation, configuration, and usage.
Access to Service
Services in this category are supported by IT resources to the degree that access to the service is provided including procurement, installation, and configuration to varying degrees. The user may be responsible for the configuration of the service beyond basic levels required for initial access to the service. The user remains solely responsible for their usage of the service.
Dept. Support
Services in this category are largely supported by local IT resources within the department hosting the service including procurement, installation, configuration, and usage. Usage support may be limited to varying degrees, much in the same way that standard software such as Microsoft Office may be supported. Users will be referred to a vendor or other third party for specialized support.
Enterprise Support
Services in this category are fully supported by local IT resources within the department hosting the service including procurement, installation, configuration, and usage. Usage support may be limited to varying degrees, much in the same way standard software such as Microsoft Office may be supported. In some cases, users may be referred to a vendor or other third party for specialized support.
