General Service Level Description


Faculty can submit all non-standard technology requests from here.
This will be routed to UNM IT by the Research IT Advisory Board Operational Subcommittee.

Data Management

The University of New Mexico Libraries' Research Data Services provides support for effective research data management planning, and can assist with developing a data management plan (DMP) which meets the requirements of funding agency.

Data Storage Solutions

UNM provides research data storage based on need to our research faculty.
Research faculty can request access to server space for data storage/backup, data intensive computations and simulations. 


Training and Workshops


UNM Professors and research faculty offer workshops and training on Anaconda, parallel computing with GNU, python and, storage to enable users to get more research done faster.

UNM Central IT has teams of professional, experienced IT professionals who provide support for servers on Windows, Linux/Unix, and VMware platforms, for enterprise, departmental, and infrastructure applications.
